Rely on friends, family, church for help

I agree with the statement "People that are poor should rely on their friends, family, or church for help, not the government."  If people who can't afford things that other people can or don't have as much money as others I think they should rely on other things besides the government.  I think it's unfair that they rely on the government because the government is made up of other people's tax money.  So it's basically like other people are paying others who can't afford anything off.  Some people work really hard to earn a lot of money and then they have to put 30% of it towards taxes and then to people who won't get jobs.  I think it would be wiser if those went to church to ask for help or friends and family.  They could help just as much and let the others who work hard have to pay them off when they don't even know who they are.
