TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD

To Kill a Mockingbird is a really adventurous story.  From the Radley house, to the court case to getting attacked, etc.  it was a great book to read and I enjoyed it.  It was slow and boring at some parts but for the most part it kept me entertained and I had fun reading it.  You have to really let yourself get into the book to enjoy it.  I loved all the characters too.  They all seemed well rounded wholesome people.  I feel bad for the deaths that happened in the book but you learned to get over it.  Each chapter kept me enterteained with all the adventures Scout and Jem had together.  I loved the movie and I loved the book, I’m glad I chose this book and I will probably pick this book up in the near future and read it again! TKAM ch. 26-31

Chapter 26: you learned that Jem still had not forgotten about Tom dieing and that he didn’t like talking or hearing about the subject, about the fact that he still hadn’t let go about it.  He was storing it away until time passed by where he could then think about it and forget it.  In chapter 27 I can see Scout playing the ham in the play, I think that would be real cute to see.  Poor Helen having to walk to work and stuff w/ Mr. Ewell stalking her, how creepy!  He’s an evil man, but I’m glad that Tate gave her the job.  Chapter 28 was very intense.  Poor Jem got hurt!  That was so creepy how someone was following them, I would have been so scared!  Ewell is a creepo and I’m glad he’s dead.  In chapter 29, I was so surprised and happy to hear how Boo saved Jem and Scout.  That made me like jump out of my chair.  I’m glad Jem will be okay, and I’m so glad that Bob is dead.  He was creepy and drunk and a liar!  No offense, but he deserves to die!   In chapter 30, I guess Atticus couldn’t accept that Jem didn’t kill Bob.  I would think he would believe the officer all the way because he wouldn’t want Jem to be commited with a crime, but Jem didn’t do it!  Bob was so drunk that he tripped and stabbed himself!  Chapter 31 was  an okay ending.  I wanted Jem to wake up so we could see how he was feeling and his opinion of the attack.  I can’t believe Scout would never see Boo again, I thought for sure she would see him again, but I guess not.
