P.S.'s Story Ending

Based on what I know about P.S. and about the school, I think the story will end by him turning himself in.  P.S. is too much of an honest man to not turn himself in.  I know he might be a trouble maker and goofy all the time, but he's a sincere man.  P.S. has been wanting to pass the Latin exam for so long.  But when P.S. cheated on the exam he felt awful after.  Yes he completed the test and he did pass it, but he CHEATED!!! If he doesn't turn himself in, it will take him a long time to forget that he cheated.  I don't think he would be able to face his father either.  His father would be happy that he passed the exam but he would probably be able to tell that something's up when P.S. tell his he passed.
Based on the school, if they found out he looked in his desk to grab a cheat sheet he would be in big trouble.  He would probably have to either take the test again or be expelled.  His father would be even more disappointed in him than he already is.  P.S. wouldn't even get to go to Colorado with Charlie.  It will just be a big mess...again!  P.S. made a foolish mistake by not studying in the first place so he could pass the test.  If he confesses to the teacher, school, his father, etc. he has a really rude awakening ahead of him.

Don't Judge!

This situation happens to me all the time.  Every single time I meet someone new I am not myself in the beginning because I don't know what they will think about me.  So I'm sure people think certain things about me when they first meet me, but then when I start being myself most people accept my personality and who I am.  When I meet new people I must admit I do judge.  But, I know you can't.  Once I start to hang out with the person more and more I start to realize how different they actually are from the when I first met them and end up enjoying their presence and becoming friends with them.
I don't really mind what people think of me in the beginning.  Most everybody always judges people in the beginning, it's just normal life.  It doesn't hurt my feelings too much, I just think everyone shouldn't judge and try to get to know the person first.  I'm trying to do that now that I'm at a new school with new people.  I'm trying to get to know the person before I judge them right off the bat.  I'm always proved wrong with people.  For example, when I first met Elle Steele she was so quiet and innocent looking.  But then when I started to talk and hang out with her more she turned out to be totally different.  So, basically you can't judge a person around the first two times you've met someone because they'll surprise you.

Rights and Wrongs with Facebook

My reaction to the article is mixed.  Since Facebook is an online site, anyone can access the information on it in some way.  I think the students/athletes should not put personal, sensitive, or negative information on the site.  If an administrator does find some negative comment on one of the student or athlete’s profile though, they should not assume that the person is an all around bad person.  But, some of the messages could be just venting or describing a situation in practice that they did not think was right or they did not enjoy.  Venting is something everyone does.  It should not be held against a person.  But a racial comment to someone on Facebook is a different story.  I can see how administrators could get upset over that, messages like that have a point in getting recognized.  It all depends on the situation that is being talked about.  But on the other hand, I think the teachers’ should just leave the athletes alone.  It’s none of their business of what’s going on in one of the athlete’s life.  The more you butt into someone’s life, the more drama and chaos you will get.

What this article is going to do to my life is make it even more stricter with Facebook or any other website that has information on me.  I will have to be more and more careful as I get older of what I say.  I might want to rash out and say something but I will not be able to because someone might be able to get access to it.
